Donavan Tate, the Padres' first-round draft pick in 2009, was suspended for 50 games Tuesday for violating Major League Baseball's drug prevention and treatment program.
He's no Matt Bush, but Padres success with first round picks is rather pathetic. You have to go back to 1993 and Derrick Lee to find someone who could be called a success, and his success came post-San Diego.
is this a metaphor for pop punk? ie, you have to go back to 1993 in order to find something good?
