One of the best records from one of the best bands. "He's a Shithead" is not only my favorite Dillinger Four song, it's one of my favorite songs period. And it deserves quoting.

ReplyDeletedillinger four is one of, if not my favorite band. midwestern songs and vs. god both spent long periods of time in my car's cd player. the underground shit is fucking great. i like situationist comedy and civil war, but, i don't know. they didn't spend as much time in the cd player, ya know?

ReplyDeleteDavid, I think each D4 album is unique it its own way. Midwestern Songs is not just the best D4 record, it's one of the best records ever released by anyone, in my opinion. While Situationist Comedy may not be their best record, it got me through some dark times, so it holds a special place for me.
