There was a time that San Diego had it's turn as "the next Seattle", and while that didn't pan out in terms of national mainstream exposure, it very well did pan out in terms of great music. Uncle Joe's Big Ol' Driver were part of that mix (ironic, as the relocated to Seattle in 1994). When people talk about UJBOD you hear "grunge" and Replacements references thrown about, but I never saw them as grunge, post-anything, or anything-core. They were just a great rock 'n' roll band.
Featuring Andrew McKeag, who would later join the Presidents Of The United States Of America.
A side is an original, B side is a John Lennon (or Plastic Ono Band to be completely accurate) cover.
