It would have been a serious mistake to have read the suspect in the attempted Times Square car bombing his Miranda rights, Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said Tuesday. An American citizen was arrested for a crime committed on U.S. soil. And McCain thinks it would be wise to find out as much as you can from the guy, then Mirandize him, so that all the information you got from him is now inadmissible in court. Brilliant!
"Obviously that would be a serious mistake...at least until we find out as much information we have," McCain said during an appearance on "Imus in the Morning"
