the fondled / tito o'tito band (1995 toast)

The Fondled and Tito O'Tito have both been posted before, here and here. The noise/skip/cutoff at the end of The Fondled side is intentional (I think), and the skip on the last TOTB song is a manufacturing defect (again, I think).

  1. F: Daddy's A Whore
  2. F: Wonder Woman
  3. F: Niorvana
  4. TOTB: Cru Is Rad
  5. TOTB: Rusty's Got A Gun
  6. TOTB: MMPR

  1. Thanks for helping me cross this one off of my "wants" list. I had a dubbed cassette version that was lost a few years ago. Then I bought the Wonder Woman track off of Amazon, and the last ten sec. or so were cut off. Damn. I love these tracks, though. Remind me of skating around San Jose as a teen, with a belly full of Weidemann's. Ah, the good ol' days, right?

  2. On a side note: are you using an automatic turntable? I know that on some of my old punk singles, the grooves are cut a little further towards the center of the record. This was probably an attempt to squeeze an extra few seconds onto the disc. Anyway, on my old auto turntable, the needle would cue itself before it could reach these last couple grooves. I opened her up and disconnected the mechanism, but I don't know what kind of equipment you're using.

  3. Well, it's kind of in between. It's a belt drive, but it does not have an automatic return. The spot where this record stops, it just starts skipping, so I'm thinking it's just some intentional end-of-record tomfoolery.
