The more unfunny Dane Cook gets, and he was never really that funny to begin with, the more popular he gets, especially among the ladies and the bro's. But knowing how I am, most people dismiss my hatred of Dane Cook as "you don't like him because he's popular." Well, maybe. But I also don't like him because he is not funny. Have I mentioned that he's not funny?

I have actually never heard a single one of his jokes. My friend says he is really funny, but I have yet to hear him. In fact, I had never even heard of him until I saw a poster for his upcoming movie...
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you. Dane Cook is NOT FUNNY. I seriously do not understand why people think he's funny. He's as funny as... well... nothing. He's entertaining to those who are dimwitted, on drugs, or don't know any better. I'm sure the frat boys love him. He's too predictable. A lot of the stuff he says, I say out loud to my friends before he says it... and because I've said the exact same thing at least once before at one point in my life.

peter i agree dane cook is not funny but to say black comedians are not funny, that's postposterous. you obviously don't know the history behind comedy. there are beyond lots of great black omedians out there and you just fail to recognize their greatness. i don't even have to mention their names
