Just got done watching it again. What a great movie. It occured to me that it would be just about impossible to get that film made today. "It's too loooong", "It's too sloooow".
Dramas are my favorite genre of films. I don't mind slow films. However, I finally saw this film about 3 years ago and wasn't impressed. Just didn't care for the story DESPITE some great performances. Can't like them all I guess....

ReplyDeleteYeah, it's definitely not for everyone, but I like slow developing character studies...I love Magnolia, which my friends all hate.
