Texas Republican Joe Barton, speaking to BP about the $20 billion dollar escrow fund.

If you read the full quote, I kind of get what he's trying to say. I don't agree with it at all, but I get it. Still, though, nice to know where people's knee-jerk sympathies lay.

    I think we should collect money for BP... if I have any thing left from my unemployment check I will give it to them
