The way I see it, people who get all righteous about a particular "sin" are most likely privately indulging in that sin. I also believe there's a direct relationship between the level of righteousness and the level of sinful indulgence. See: Ted Haggart, Jimmy Swaggart, John Ensign, Larry Craig, et al, ad nauseum.
